Deccan Movement Centre was an outdoor parkour and calisthenics space in Hyderabad, started by Sharan Narayanan, Karthik Mulpuru, and Yashwant Reddy. Its first class was held on 26 November 2019. Between them, the three covered different groups: Yashwant coached calisthenics, Sharan coached the children’s parkour classes, and Karthik coached the adults, with Sharan later taking on the adult classes as well. The centre was built and run entirely on the founders’ own funds.

The COVID-19 pandemic arrived a few months after it opened. The centre closed in mid-2023.

Over its run the centre hosted a few of its own events: Jump DMC, an open day for athletes from around India; DMC Games, a three-day internal event; and Jump DMC Exodus, a closing jam that drew traceurs from across the country. Sharan went on to open a successor gym in Hyderabad, Movement Is Magic, in May 2024.
