Vinay Jolapara is the founder of Hoop Parkour in Rajkot, which he started in 2013 and describes as the first parkour gym in Gujarat. He calls himself the gym’s designer as well as its founder.

He came to parkour in 2008, from a background in wushu, yoga, gymnastics and rope mallakhamb. He had been living in Mumbai and chose to return to Rajkot, his home town, to teach there rather than remain in the city.
